About Ned Butler

In addition to individual therapy, DBT Skills Groups and telephone coaching, an essential component of a DBT program is to have your therapists consult with each other on a regular basis to be sure that you are getting the most out of your commitment to therapy. As part of your clinical team, I am committed to ongoing consultation and continuing education to help you get the most out of the DBT Center’s program.

Ned_Butler_mft_sacramentoNed Butler is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MFC #41745

I have been leading DBT Skills Groups in Sacramento continuously since 2004 and have worked individually with numerous clients to help them learn DBT to create a life worth living. I have attended 30 hours of DBT training (12.5 of which was with Marsha Linehan, Ph.D.) and also have extensive training in Gestalt and meditation.  DBT mindfulness is derived from these. I have been working at my office at 717 K Street, Sacramento, since 2001; prior to that I was affiliated with Volunteers in Victim Assistance.
